It is a remake of the classic 1983 telenovela of the same name created by Fernanda Villeli. Adapted by Leonardo Bechini, the telenovela was directed by Carlos Cock Marín and stars Fernando Colunga, Marlene Favela, Julián Gil, Sofía Castro, Chantal Andere, Jacqueline Andere, Rafael Inclán, and Julio Vallado.
